It includes links to key policy areas such as the Personnel Policies for Staff Members (PPSM), local implementation guidance, and related HR frameworks. The site serves as a central hub for campuses to reference and apply HR policies and procedures in alignment with UC standards.

PPSM-2: This system-wide policy defines key terms used throughout the Personnel Policies for Staff Members (PPSM), such as appointment status, break in service, promotion, demotion, transfer, exempt and non-exempt employee classifications, and other employment-related terminology. It applies to Professional & Support Staff (PSS), Managers & Senior Professionals (MSP), and Senior Management Group (SMG) employees, and provides a common framework for interpreting and administering staff personnel policies consistently across the University of California.
