Layoff & Reduction in Time from Professional and Support Staff Career Positions

UCR Local Procedure

Medical Separation

UC Policy

This system-wide policy establishes the standards and process for medically separating a non-probationary career (regular status) employee when the employee is unable to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation, due to a disability, and reassignment is not available under PPSM-81 (Reasonable Accommodation).
